Pezzella Residential
Nīnole, Hawaiʻi Island
An ecologically informed landscape design for a residential parcel in the Nīnole Sea Cliffs Estates subdivision overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This project minimized landscape maintenance by transforming a sloping hillside into an expansive, abundant edible forest garden. The hillside was stabilized to mitigate erosion using plants like vetiver and the existing banyan and complemented by an accessible network of pathways down the slope and around the house.
